Rwanda day 1 posted by Zac Archuleta

Zac is one of the skaters that headed to Rwanda yesterday. Here is his first day recap:

"Well its just about 12AM in Kilgali, Rwanda right now. Its been a hectic day and a half. Been in the air for more than 20 hours. I'm feeling a crap load better than i thought i'd feel especially not sleeping a wink pretty much the whole time. Basically this is just the intro and short summary for the Africa trip day 1. I have a grip of photos that i'll add tomorrow. I can't wait to see the things that God has planned for this trip. I just want my faith to increase. I'm ready to get my world rocked. Its already been pretty intense. Schedule for tomorrow is:
-wake up @ 7:30 and check out ramp location
-8am help feed local kids
-12pm tour of Kilgali with Mayor
-??????

I flew from:
-Los Angeles to Newark
-Newark to Brussels
-Brussels to Rwanda

Again this is just a short intro to my blog. I'll get more into detail about Day 1 tomorrow and will add photos.
Love you guys!!"

We had a little problem with a large duffle bag filled with toys for the kids (XGames fingerboards), helmets & pads. The agent at Delta must have been having a rough day and needless to say the bag never got on the plane.

Here is a video of the kids at Ramp packing the bag:

Pray that somehow we can get this bag there by Thursday.`
